Domestic Violence, Spousal Abuse, Child Abuse

Any person accused of domestic violence in Florida will be incarcerated without bond until they are brought before a judge and advised of the criminal charges against them. Additionally, in most cases, the accused will be ordered to stay away from the alleged victim, even if this is not the alleged victim’s wish. This means that the accused can have no contact whatsoever with the alleged victim and may need to arrange temporary housing and child care and alter many other aspects of their life.

If you or a loved one is accused of domestic violence, it is vital to immediately retain professional representation. Both of our firm’s partners are former Miami-Dade County prosecutors with a thorough comprehension of criminal law and extensive courtroom experience.

If a stay-away order has been imposed and you and your loved one wish to have it removed, we can accompany you to court and petition the judge to withdraw the order so you can immediately resume seeing your loved one. Our office is located just a few blocks from the Domestic Violence Intake Unit located at the Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center.

Call us today at 305-374-4600 or contact us online. We are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  We look forward to helping you.
