A scantily clad female inmate told a Louisville courtroom that jail officials denied her request for pants and hygiene products while locked up, prompting an outraged judge to wonder: “Is this real?”
The inmate had been held in a Jefferson County jail for failure to complete a diversion program for a 2014 shoplifting charge and was held for three days while she awaited a court hearing.
